As the three-wheeler gained popularity and the market potential in the outstations developed, distribution and after-sales service had to be expanded accordingly. DPMC thus unveiled the first of its Regional Operations Centers (ROCs) in Dambulla in June 2004 in an effort to decentralize the distribution of
three-wheelers. Strategically positioned to cater to a vast area, it offered our valued customers the opportunity of purchasing their vehicle at a convenient location. Dambulla ROC was followed by two more Operations Centers in Matara in the South and Ampara in the East, thereby covering all parts of the country. Initially the operations included the booking and delivery of three-wheelers only. They were transported from Madapatha to the ROC, partly assembled, where the hood cloths, mudguards and windscreens were fixed and the vehicles were subjected to pre-delivery inspection. The operations were later expanded to include the booking and delivery of motorcycles as well.
