Digital Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for energetic individual with a passion for all things digital to join our growing digital marketing team that services one of Sri Lanka’s leading conglomerates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
• Monitor and manage own social media channels
• Manage and maintain the Group’s websites
• Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
• Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
• Support the Digital Marketing team in briefing and follow up with the agencies on campaigns
• Follow up with agencies on progress of the campaigns / invoicing & Payments / Reporting
• Support the administrative works in the division
• Attend product launches, events etc and update digital platforms accordingly

Those with no prior work experience but commitment, passion and aptitude for social media and digital marketing and willingness to learn on the job will also be considered.

• Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Sinhala or Tamil
• Diploma or degree or professional qualification from a recognised institution in marketing,
• Knowledge in graphic designing (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / Video animations & HTML5) preferred
• Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM would be an added advantage
• Outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in MS Applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
• Having knowledge in web development languages is an advantage
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
