Service Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage team members, including technicians and advisors, to ensure team objectives and sales goals are being carried out.
  • Possess and display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.
  • Excel in exemplary customer service, including nurturing customer relationships whilst upselling products and services and taking care of customer concerns or complaints swiftly and professionally; adopt measures to improve the customer complaint levels, especially the ones which are recurring in nature.
  • Develop working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions and laws; ensure service department adheres to all applicable regulations whilst performing administrative tasks. 
  • Set up and maintain service desk and monitor, evaluate and improve the service desk efficiency whilst managing the team members assigned to carry out the service desk tasks and service desk related drawbacks.
  • Conduct regular audits on work carried out and customer service to ensure stipulated standards are met resulting in effective, accurate and thorough repair work being carried out.
  • Oversee team members performing inspections, preparing reports and executing repairs; if necessary, carry out these duties personally to ensure the highest quality of work.

Previous Service Experience, Comprehensive Industry Knowledge, Management Experience, Strong Customer-Facing Skills, Strong Written and Verbal Communication (both Sinhala & English) coupled with Self-Motivated, Troubleshooting, Creative Problem-Solving attitude and Qualifications in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
