David Pieris Motor Company (Lanka) Limited today released the first brand-new Bajaj CT100 motorcycle to be produced with locally manufactured components under the Standard Operating Procedure for Automobile Manufacturing/ Assembling Industry and Automobile Component Manufacturing Industry in Sri Lanka introduced by the Ministry of Industries.
Expanding the main workshop network to 03 and David Pieris Group presence in the Northern Province, DPMC Workshop Jaffna was ceremonially opened today by Mr. David Pieris, President of David Pieris Group of Companies.
With much commitment and sleepless nights, the cross-functional team completed the construction of the new workshop within just 03 months as the foundation stone for the new workshop laid on 02 December 2021. The same location also has a Bajaj Genuine Spare Parts Outlet too.

This complements the DPMC Workshop Express that commenced operation in October and provides customer with greater convenience with not only Bajaj Genuine spare parts and Bajaj Genuine Oil but also ATLAS, MRF and ORION Tyres all being available in the same place.

David Pieris Motor Company (Private) Limited celebrated its 28th anniversary today with the opening of the ‘Commercial Vehicle Facility’ at DPMC Workshop Madapatha. The new facility was declared opened by Mr. Rohana Dissanayake, David Pieris Group Chairman and Managing Director along with other Directors and Officials from the Group. As per tradition, a cake was also cut to mark DPMC’s 28th anniversary.
The new ‘Commercial Vehicle Facility’ will undertake servicing and repairs of all commercial vehicles including mini cabs, buddy lorries, buses, single / double cabs, freezer lorries, tippers, containers and prime movers of the Group and external customers.
