DPMC unveils brand new Bajaj Pulsar N160: where power meets precision

David Pieris Motor Company (Lanka) Limited (DPMC) launched the Bajaj Pulsar N160, the third motorcycle model produced under the Local Value Addition (LVA) programme, this morning at the Battaramulla Head Office.

This launch marks a significant milestone as the Pulsar N160 becomes the first brand-new sports bike in its segment to be introduced in Sri Lanka amidst the prevailing 2020 import restrictions.

DPMC launches E-drive in Kandy

David Pieris Motor Company (Private) Limited launched its E-drive electric taxi service in Kandy.

Mr. Samantha Silva, Chief Marketing Officer of DPMC, along with Mr. Kosala Ratnayake, General Manager of Automotive Regional Operations, police officers, officials from government institutes, and members from the David Pieris Group participated in the event, which took place opposite the DPMC Kandy Regional Office.

Initially, five E-drive three-wheelers will operate from the DPMC Regional Office in Kandy, with a pool of 12 drivers. The service will primarily operate in the Kandy town and Katugastota areas.
