David Pieris Group & Helakuru partner to introduce HelaGo, a new era in fair ride-hailing

The David Pieris Group, one of Sri Lanka’s largest conglomerates, has partnered with HelaGo, the ride-hailing platform under the Helakuru Superapp, to create a fair, transparent, and inclusive mobility ecosystem. The agreement was signed at the Group’s Head Office in Battaramulla.

HelaGo introduces a demand-and-supply–driven model, empowering both drivers and passengers while supporting cash, card, and HelaPay transactions. With millions of Helakuru users, the platform is poised for rapid nationwide adoption.

Mr. Dhanika Perera, HelaGo Chairman, said, “We are excited to partner with David Pieris Motor Company to launch a fair and empowering mobility solution.”
