DPMC Workshop Jaffna opened

Expanding the main workshop network to 03 and David Pieris Group presence in the Northern Province, DPMC Workshop Jaffna was ceremonially opened today by Mr. David Pieris, President of David Pieris Group of Companies.

With much commitment and sleepless nights, the cross-functional team completed the construction of the new workshop within just 03 months as the foundation stone for the new workshop laid on 02 December 2021. The same location also has a Bajaj Genuine Spare Parts Outlet too.
DP Group management including President Mr. David Pieris and Mrs. Esther Pieris, Chairman Mr. Rohana Dissanayake, Mr. Johann Pieris, and directors / CEOs of other Group companies, were welcomed to the venue according to Hindu rituals.

To coincide with the event, a fascinating bike parade involving 40 women was organized by Assetline Liya Diriya as part of its safe riding workshop. 
Women Empowerment Programme too started for women from the Northern Province and it will run for three months providing them with technical and practical training on Bajaj vehicle servicing, repairing, and maintenance. Several other events such as Cricket matches, recognition of women three-wheeler drivers, stalls by Group companies, etc. were held to mark the occasion.
Situated at No. 405, Brown Road, Kokuvil East, Kokuvil, the new workshop offers servicing, maintenance, and repairs for all Bajaj vehicles, KTM motorcycles as well as a body wash & detailing of all vehicles.
