DPMC Dealers participate at ‘Bajaj Master Mech’ Skill Contest

‘Bajaj Master Mech’ is a Skill Contest which spans two days, concluding with an awards night. It is organized by Bajaj Auto Limited annually in India, for dealers of their Distributors worldwide. In addition to the main event held every year in India, National events are conducted in respective countries. Throughout the contest, Dealer mechanics are able to display their skills and they are evaluated on their Bajaj product knowledge. This helps them to understand their potential, thereby further motivating them. The Skill Contest which commenced in 2016 for two-wheeler Dealer mechanics was extended for three-wheeler Dealer mechanics as well in 2019. The main idea behind the ‘Bajaj Master Mech’ is to develop, train and give recognition to Dealer mechanics as they play a vital role in strengthening the bond between the Distributor and customers.

DPMC Dealers have been awarded at the ‘Bajaj Master Mech’ contest as follows;

• 2016 - Winner  - Mr. Moditha Paranawithana, M.J motors, Galle
• 2017 - 1 st runner up – Mr. Thanuja Madushanka, Anura motors, Buttala
• 2018 - 2 nd runner up – Mr. Ajantha Kumara Samayamanthri, Ajantha motors- Kandy
• 2019 – Best in Three-wheeler Diagnostics – Mr. Tharanga Sandaruwan Kothalawala, Kothalawala Marine & Technical Engineering Service, Trincomalee
